Founded by Kem-Laurin Lubin, Ph.D. Can @University of Waterloo, the AI UX/UI WG [AI-HCD WG] exists to discuss the principles of Human factors, Accessibility, User consent, Privacy, User controls and Transparency, as they are related to AI-driven applications.
The AI-HCD WG aims to provide a forum where practitioners in AI Ecosystems, as well as Human factors (HCD) professionals, and other stakeholders, including community members, can share experiences and best practices through a series of bi-monthly meetings around AI and Design.
AI-HCD WG further aims to ensure a harmonized development of specifications, and guidelines for use in the AI Technical Vertical as well as Design practice. While most starting members are based out of Ontario and Quebec, Canada, membership will be open to anyone with vested interests.
